Cancellation & Refund Policy
At LegalBOX, we are committed to delivering reliable and timely legal services to every user. However, we understand that circumstances may arise where cancellation or refund may be necessary. As per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and guidelines under digital service transactions in India, we have designed the following fair-use policy to govern cancellation, rescheduling, and refund requests.
Clients who wish to cancel their legal consultation (paid or free) must do so at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Any cancellation made after that window, or failure to attend without prior notice (no-show), shall result in the forfeiture of the consultation fee, as the time slot is exclusively reserved. In case of free services, rebooking is subject to availability and LegalBOX discretion.
Refunds are applicable only in genuine cases where the service was not delivered due to failure on our part — such as advocate unavailability, failure to connect within the scheduled time, or errors in documentation entirely attributable to LegalBOX. In all such cases, the client must raise a written refund request within 48 hours of the scheduled service, along with proof or appointment ID. Once verified, eligible refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days through the original payment method (UPI, wallet, or bank).
LegalBOX will not be liable to refund in cases where the client changes their mind after service initiation, delays submission of required documents or information, or disagrees with the legal opinion provided. Legal interpretation and opinions differ based on facts, and payment is made for professional time, not case outcome. Rescheduling of paid consultation is allowed only once, provided the request is made at least 1 hour before the appointment.
All cancellation or refund requests must be submitted via official email (support@legalbox.in) or registered WhatsApp number along with proper details. LegalBOX reserves the right to accept or reject refund claims based on internal investigation, service logs, and client conduct. In matters of dispute, jurisdiction will lie in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in accordance with Indian contract law.
